In addition to the ARGOS LUMEN’s clear and high-contrast display, a globally patented illumination principle ensures best possible readability in every situation: the watch face is coated with brilliant white Superluminova, making the whole dial light up in the dark.A technical refinement additionally generates a shining aura around the hands: the undersides of the hour and minute hands are likewise coated with Superluminova.
In bright light, the undersides of the hands are charged with light reflected off the dial, which at night significantly increases the contrast between the hands and the illuminated dial.
