The SOLUS single-hand watch – a precision instrument

22 years after the first modern single-hand watch – the UNO – was designed Botta-Design has developed another model based on the same principle of time display.Once again, the watch design is reduced to the bare essentials. Thanks to the precise time scale, which is in perfect harmony with the hand, the time can be read to the nearest five minutes at least. In other words, the SOLUS, just like the UNO, allows the wearer to check the time at a glance.

The watch combines technical clarity and simplicity with maximum comfort and quality: extensive technical effort was employed to reduce the thickness of the titanium case, with its eight screws, to just 4.9 mm. The visible height of the watch is equivalent to that of a one euro coin!
All the other components of the watch are of equally high quality – a Swiss-made Ronda movement, vegetable-tanned calf nappa leather strap, sapphire glass. Like all watches from Botta-Design, the SOLUS is developed and manufactured entirely in Germany.
