The UNO 24 does just that: a single hand circles the dial within a day, following the natural course of light. The upper half stands for day, the lower half for night. The result is an intuitive, logical time display that not only shows what time it is - but also where you are in the day.

During the day, the UNO 24 shows the time with half-hour markings - clear, but relaxed. At night, on the other hand, it dispenses with any subdivisions and only shows the full hours. This deliberately reduced display has a calming effect and gives the viewer a feeling of space and serenity. The UNO 24 is optionally available with discreet lighting elements: the numerals and markings on the night half and the solo hand are backed with phosphorescent material. After dark, they glow mysteriously in a cool blue-green - discreet but clearly recognizable. This makes it possible to intuitively experience the time at night. And the clock remains an expressive object - even in the darkness of the room.

Klaus Botta is considered a philosopher of time and the inventor of the modern single-hand watch. He developed this principle, which stands for a conscious and decelerated approach to time, back in 1986.

Klaus Botta studied technical physics and product design. His work, which is consistently distinguished by its exceptionality and logic, has won more than 60 international design awards.
