How to tell the time on a 12-hour single-hand watch?
The hand of the UNO one-hand watch is an hour hand and therefore completes one revolution every 12 hours. The special scale developed by Klaus Botta is divided into 5-minute increments. This allows you to record the time accurately to within a few minutes if required.

How to tell the time on a 24-hour single-hand watch?
A single-hand watch with a 24-hour display: the UNO 24 enables its wearer to be much more conscious of time, as it shows the entire day at a glance. Its hour hand completes a full rotation on the specially developed scale within 24 hours. It thus behaves exactly like the Earth itself, which also completes one rotation in 24 hours.
The smallest mark on its precise scale represents ten minutes. This allows the time to be estimated to within at least five minutes. The alignment of the hand on the dial corresponds to the path of the sun as seen from Earth: in the morning, the hand rises above the artificial horizon of the watch, at noon it reaches its zenith, and in the evening it sinks back down to the horizon. A fine line at midnight marks the transition from one day to the next. As soon as the hand crosses this line, the date jumps and shows the new day. The fascination of single-hand watches with a 24-hour display lies in their ability to represent the day as an intuitively comprehensible graphic.
