Wall clocks

The large metal wall clock from BOTTA for a generous approach to time

12 hours wall clock and 24 hours wall clock

We offer our modern wall clocks in two display variants.

The usual time display with 12 hours: Easy to read, clear time display, familiar reading scheme with a very good overview.

The sun-synchronous logical time display with full-day display according to the 24-hour principle: Graphic time display with day and night halves. Unusual but consistently logical.

Available in 38 and 50 cm diameter

Our high-quality wall clocks are available in two different sizes.

The smaller and more discreet wall clock with a diameter of 38 cm is ideal for smaller living rooms, living rooms, workrooms or kitchens.

The large wall clock with a diameter of 50 cm is an even more "decorative room object" and impresses with its extravagant appearance, especially in spacious living rooms and living rooms, but also in design-oriented offices or modern practices.

Durable design objects with exceptional time display

Our wall clocks are more than just large time displays. With their solid aluminum body and their many elaborate details, the wall clocks are real eye-catchers for any design-oriented room. The elegant surfaces made of brushed, satin and shot-blasted aluminum give the clocks an outstanding quality and precision. Their clear and logical aesthetics give every room calm and an elegant and relaxed atmosphere.

BOTTA wall clocks - spatial objects with time display

To describe our UNO and UNO 24 wall clocks as just wall clocks would not do justice to their effect.

Rather, it is a valuable piece of furniture and modern, decorative eye-catcher to be seen. Similar to a mural or a large-format photograph, they shape the room in which they hang.

This also explains the relatively large diameters, which further support the presence. Our wall clocks are room objects with time display, which radiate generosity and serenity. At first, single-hand watches seem strange. However, after a short period of getting used to them, you can tell the time more quickly and intuitively than with any other watch. A feeling you won't want to miss.

All UNO wall clocks are Made in Germany and are made of aircraft aluminum and finished and assembled by hand in over 50 work steps. Thanks to the high-quality battery-operated clockworks used, they are flexible in their installation and almost silent in operation. A specially developed fastening system enables simple and secure wall mounting. Three spacer caps attached to the back ensure a defined and decorative distance from the wall.

Useful information about wall clocks

An analog single-hand wall clock displays the time using just one hand. The hours and minutes are read together based on the position of the hand on the dial. By dispensing with minute and second hands, it creates a particularly clear, graphic display that places the broader context of time at the forefront.

With a 24-hour wall clock, the hour hand takes 24 hours to complete one full rotation. This mirrors the Earth, which also rotates once around its own axis in 24 hours. The entire day is therefore displayed on a single
dial. On the BOTTA UNO 24, 12 noon is positioned at the top and midnight at the bottom. This makes it possible to see not only the current time, but also intuitively understand where you are within the course of the day.

On a classic 12-hour clock, the hour hand circles the dial twice a day. On a 24-hour wall clock, by contrast, one complete rotation of the hand corresponds to an entire day. This makes the course of the day visible as
a whole. BOTTA offers both analog display principles as striking single-hand wall clocks inspired by the Bauhaus design philosophy.

The single hand indicates both the hours and minutes at the same time. Its position between the hour markers shows how far the current hour has progressed. After a short period of adjustment, the time can be read intuitively – without minutes and seconds constantly taking center stage. This encourages a more intuitive perception of time. The time can be read at a glance, making the process highly analog and quick.

A wall clock becomes an eye-catcher when it is more than just a timekeeping instrument. Size, material, proportions, and a distinctive design determine how strongly it shapes a room. BOTTA wall clocks are deliberately conceived as minimalist
objects for the interior, combining a clear display of time with a striking, architectural presence.

A wall clock should be placed where it is clearly visible while also fitting harmoniously into the room. Suitable locations include above a sideboard, above the sofa, or on an open wall. Large wall clocks can be used deliberately as an eye-catching feature or kinetic object within the space. In addition to height, the proportions of the clock, the wall, and the surrounding furniture are especially important.

The right size depends primarily on the room and the viewing distance. Smaller wall clocks are well suited to kitchens, home offices, or compact living spaces.
Large-format wall clocks are particularly effective in larger living areas, offices, medical practices, or representative spaces. BOTTA wall clocks are available in two different sizes for every model: 50 cm and 38 cm in diameter.

All BOTTA wall clocks are manufactured and assembled in Germany. High-quality materials such as aluminum are precisely machined, refined, and then carefully assembled by hand. The result is durable design objects in which design, construction, and manufacturing quality are closely interconnected.
