UNO Edition-40 automatic watch
UNO Edition-40
40 Years of Evolution of a Design Icon
In 1986, the first modern one-hand watch, the UNO, created a new perspective on time. Since then, this principle has been continuously refined through eight stages of development. Each generation has optimized design, aesthetics, ergonomics and technology. Today, the UNO Edition-40 combines four decades of experience with a Tri-Titanium case, double-domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal and Swiss Made movements — with a quality standard that reflects the highest level of Swiss watchmaking.
More clarity. More time. More quality of life.
The UNO Edition-40 consistently continues the idea of reduction. The characteristic UNO scale has been simplified once again and reduced to three quarter-hour markers between the twelve hours.
The dial appears calmer, and reading the time becomes even more intuitive. Mango Yellow brings warmth and energy, Cornflower Blue creates a sense of openness and serenity,
Titanium Grey stands for clarity and functionality.
Three colors. Three moods. Three ways to experience time.
A special edition for a special idea.
The UNO Edition-40 is available as a permanently available quartz version and as a limited automatic edition. The automatic models are limited to 100 pieces and, for the first time, are available with a 40 mm or 44 mm case diameter. Both sizes are available in Mango Yellow, Cornflower Blue and Titanium Grey.
The individual configuration of case size, dial color and limitation number allows for a personal version of the anniversary edition. Production is already underway, with deliveries beginning in
October 2026.
Until then, customers who pre-order benefit from an anniversary advantage of €200 on the automatic models and €100 on the quartz models.
Limitation & Availability
The automatic edition is limited to 100 pieces. At launch, limitation numbers 2 to 99 can be freely selected. The model with number 1 costs €800 additionally, while the model with number 100 costs €500 additionally.
The combination of case size, dial color and limitation number remains individually configurable until assembly begins. The pre-sale ends when deliveries start.
The UNO automatic movement: refined, robust and reliable
BOTTA design has opted to use the Sellita SW 200-1 elaboré Swiss-made automatic movement, which is one of the most reliable mechanical movements available. In addition, the movement of every single UNO Automatic spends several days being carefully adjusted for maximum precision by an experienced watchmaker.
After manual assembly, each individual UNO Automatic single-handed watch passes through two independent test routines and several accuracy checks. Only when it has successfully passed all tests and checks will the UNO Automatic be delivered to you.
