To the UNO 24 - day configurator

UNO 24: The 24-hour single-hand watch – as logically structured as a day on Earth.

A day has 24 hours, not just 12. Following this logic, the UNO 24 displays all hours of the day on its 24-part special scale. Its dial is divided—just like a day on Earth—into a daytime half (top) and a nighttime half (bottom). The hour hand symbolically follows the course of the sun. It begins its rotation at 0:00 in the lower (dark) half, then rises from the night half into the day half at around 6:00 a.m.

At 12:00 noon, it reaches its zenith at the top of the dial, before gradually moving back toward the horizon line in the right quadrant of the dial.

At 18:00, the hand transitions back into the dark half of the dial, eventually reaching the date line—symbolizing the dateline—around 24:00. As it crosses this line, the date display advances to the next day.

A new day begins.
We call this highly analog representation of a day “sun-synchronous.”
